This opportunity is suitable for students looking for secondary school community involvement hours, or adult volunteers.
Assist members of the Historic Downtown Bowmanville BIA during Moonlight Magic.
Responsibilities vary but may include:
- Monitoring event attractions to prevent damage
- Monitoring flow of line-ups
- Redirection of line-ups to allow for improved traffic flow
- Distribution of holiday themed gifts to children and/or parents
- Wearing holiday hat or safety vest(provided)
Volunteers must commit to entire 2 hour shift from 7-9pm. Additional shift available from 5-7pm, if desired (see other opportunity post).
Opportunity is outdoors in downtown Bowmanville. The weather will be COLD and volunteers must dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
