This opportunity is suitable for students looking for secondary school community involvement hours, or adult volunteers.
Assist members of the Historic Downtown Bowmanville BIA during Santa Claus Parade.
*** volunteers will NOT participate in parade ***
Responsibilities vary but may include:
- Monitoring event attractions to prevent damage
- Monitoring flow of line-ups and redirection if necessary
- Distribution of holiday themed gifts to children
- Wearing holiday themed item such as Elf hat (provided)
Volunteers must commit to entire 2.5 hour shift from 9:30am-12pm. This is a stationary volunteer position at the corner of King & Temperance.
Opportunity is outdoors in downtown Bowmanville. Volunteers must dress appropriately for weather.
