CLMA is seeking volunteers in Grade 9 and up to act as Festival Assistants at Winter WonderLearn!
Assistants will act as Festival greeters, provide directions and answer questions from the public, assist the public entering the event space for Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue and Scott Gardner performances, assist staff in the Maker's Space and monitor use of equipment, assist staff hosting the Visual Arts Centre activity, take photographs of the event, and provide set-up and take-down assistance for participating organizations.
This position is for Maker's Space Assistant, but the volunteer must be willing to fill in for all roles as required.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a mandatory Pre-Event Meeting for all volunteers on Wednesday, February 14, 3:30-4:30pm at the Courtice Library. This will be included in your completed volunteer hours.
The Festival is on Monday, February 19 (Family Day), 9am-3pm.
Volunteers must live in Clarington or be enrolled in a Clarington area secondary school.
