“We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the annual Mayor's Levee on Sunday, January 7th, 2024, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the South Courtice Arena. This event promises to be a fantastic day of community togetherness, with a wide array of activities suitable for all ages, including exciting games, creative crafts, live entertainment and refreshments. You'll also have the opportunity to meet and greet our esteemed Mayor and Members of Council, who look forward to connecting with the community. Additionally, this event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the various programs and services available in our recreation facilities and to connect with some of our community partners. Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable day of fun, fellowship, and civic engagement!”
Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with monitoring inflatables
- Assisting staff with activities, games and crafts
- Greeting guests and handing out giveaways
- Crowd control
- Line management
- Checking wristbands or tickets for the skate
- Other duties as assigned
* We can provide proof of completion for high school volunteer hour requirements
