Ron Benner is an internationally recognized, London (ON) based artist whose longstanding practice investigates the history and political economy of food cultures. For its very first iteration of annual commissions, the VAC has invited Ron Benner to create a yearlong site-specific installation that responds to the gallery, its history as a former Barley Mill, and it's unique space in a mixed media/photographic installation that will open on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
