The Group Support volunteer provides support to parents whom would not otherwise be able to attend a Kinark parent group if support was not available. Volunteers organize evening sessions to ensure structure, consistency and predictability. Volunteers are another positive role model children will interact with while at Kinark, and as such, will embrace learning opportunities, and where directed will apply behaviour modification techniques and reinforce learning.
