Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled programmer with experience in REAPER scripting to develop custom macros for the SWS/S&M plugin extension. This is a project-based position with the flexibility to work remotely, ideal for someone passionate about audio production and REAPER.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom macros and automation scripts using Reaper’s scripting language (C/C++), specifically tailored for the SWS/S&M extension

Work closely with the team to understand specific needs and deliver tailored macros for different audio production processes

Troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts for improved performance and functionality

Document and provide clear instructions for end-users on the installation and use of the macros

Qualifications:

Experience in Reaper scripting and C/C++

As a Radio Host, you will be the voice of the show, responsible for creating an enjoyable and memorable listening experience.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Air Performance: Host live radio shows, including talk segments, interviews with guests and other programming, with energy plus professionalism

Content Creation: Prepare and deliver engaging content that aligns with the station’s brand and programming goals

Interviewing: Conduct interviews with guests, including artists, experts, and community figures. Prepare thoughtful questions and facilitate dynamic conversations.

Promotion: Promote the show both on-air and through other channels at events or fairs. Actively engage with the station’s promotional activities and social media presence.

Broadcast Quality: Ensure smooth and professional on-air operations, including managing the broadcast equipment, monitoring audio levels, and addressing any technical issues that arise.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to plan and execute programming. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new content and show formats.

Compliance: Adhere to broadcasting regulations, copyright laws, and station policies to ensure content is appropriate and legally compliant.

Qualifications:

No Previous Experience Required: We are able to teach the skills required for this role

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, engaging voice and the ability to connect with a diverse audience.

Personality: A vibrant and charismatic personality with the ability to entertain and captivate listeners.

Creativity: Ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the programming. A passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

Non-essentials (assets)

Previous experience as a radio host, broadcaster, or in a similar media role is an asset 

Basic knowledge of broadcast equipment and audio editing software is a asset

Comfort with operating studio equipment and managing live broadcast is an asset 

Educational background in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field (not required)
