We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the energy and excitement to Clarington's Celebrate Sport Community Day—our official kick-off to June is Recreation & Parks Month (JRPM)!
This family-friendly event showcases local sport organizations and businesses through a trade show-style exhibition. It’s a fun-filled day where coaches, athletes, and families connect, learn about recreation resources, and celebrate community wellness.
Volunteer roles include:

Greeting and directing guests

Assisting at activity stations

Supporting kids’ zone fun (bouncy castle, popcorn station, etc.)

Helping at the Municipal JRPM Passport booth
-
Set-up and tear-down assistance
Event Highlights:

Family Zumba: 10:30 a.m.

Netball Demonstrations: 12:00 p.m.

Guided Meditation Hike: 1:00 p.m.

Plus: music, snacks, giveaways, and a chance to win a brand-new bike!
